Recruiter

Location: On-site at Robot Ranch in Austin, Texas. Must be willing to relocate to Austin, TX if not within commuting distance.

What you will do

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle from initial outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Partner with engineering and operations leadership to forecast hiring needs, define requirements, and build headcount plans.
• Source and engage highly qualified engineers and operators across construction, software, robotics, and hardware.
• Run high-signal screens assessing technical competence and cultural alignment.
• Coordinate complex onsite interview schedules and candidate logistics at Texas facilities.
• Analyze recruiting funnel data, improve conversion rates, and reduce time-to-hire.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a technical or high-growth environment.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into sourcing and screening strategies.
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple high-priority roles simultaneously.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for representing the company to passive candidates.
• Willingness to work onsite in Austin, TX, including relocation if necessary.
• Availability to work extended hours or weekends when critical hiring pushes require it.

Nice to have

• Recruiting experience in hardware, robotics, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, defense, or other hard-tech companies.
• Experience as a founding recruiter or in an early-stage startup with ownership of scheduling and coordination.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever and sourcing tools.
• A strong engineering talent network in Austin or similar technology hubs.
