Director of Implementation (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for vertical software partners.
• Oversee the Solutions Engineering and Merchant Onboarding teams.
• Manage integration plans, project logs, KPIs, documentation, and execution across concurrent implementation projects.
• Build systems, processes, AI tools, and agents to automate and scale implementation operations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Solution Engineering, Onboarding, and Partner Success teams.
• Support technical and non-technical customers, demonstrate products, and transition integration plans into production documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience, including 4–6+ years leading complex customer implementations or onboarding programs and at least 3 years managing teams.
• Experience in SaaS, fintech, embedded payments, finance, or high-growth enterprise software platforms.
• Working knowledge of APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and platform integration concepts.
• Understanding of payment acceptance, vendor payables, tokenization, PCI compliance, and transaction flows.
• Experience building AI-driven processes, agentic workflows, and automations.
• Strong communication skills for working with C-suite enterprise clients, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
