Overnight Area Manager I

Location: DFW2 - Dallas, TX; onsite distribution center work

What you will do

• Lead and develop warehouse associates and operations leads to achieve daily operational goals.
• Execute inventory accuracy processes, warehouse bin accuracy checks, and inventory shrink controls.
• Use warehouse management, order management, workload planning tools, and material handling equipment to fulfill orders to required standards.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and operational variances.
• Address operational and personnel issues in collaboration with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other operations leaders.
• Implement process improvements and workload-efficiency mechanisms.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience with WMS or inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience and a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, including occasional overtime, evenings, weekends, and other non-standard hours.
• Ability to use material handling equipment such as forklifts, perform basic calculations, transport up to 20 lbs., and work at varying heights, temperatures, and noise levels.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Degree in engineering, operations, supply chain/logistics, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement methods.
