Manager, Product Development - Robots (Robotics)

Salary: $90,000–$125,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own new product development for assigned Shark robot products from brainstorming through mass production.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of product developers, including setting goals and supporting career growth.
• Define product specifications, design targets, performance standards, and user experience requirements based on consumer needs and market opportunities.
• Partner with consumer insights, engineering, industrial design, marketing, testing, and quality teams to iterate and launch products.
• Manage cost structure, product rationalization, and sourcing strategy with supply chain, merchandising, and planning.
• Guide go-to-market materials, instructional content, troubleshooting resources, and high-visibility breakthrough initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, human factors, or a related field; consumer goods experience is preferred.
• Experience hiring, managing, and setting goals for a team.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, management, or engineering.
• Consumer-first mindset with strong written, verbal, and executive presentation skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple programs in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with transparency, shifting priorities, and continuous learning.
