Senior Associate, Loan Operations

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX; Los Angeles, CA; or NY/NJ, United States

What you will do

• Manage daily position, transaction, and cash reconciliations across multiple accounts with custodians, clients, and agent banks.
• Monitor and resolve cash and position discrepancies, coordinating break resolution with clients, internal teams, custodians, and agents.
• Oversee a team of analysts and establish reconciliation processes and procedures aligned with firm best practices.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI reports to identify trends and workflow issues.
• Review root cause analyses and recommend process improvements, efficiency measures, and risk-mitigation actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of financial services or securities industry experience in operations and loan operations, preferably with a prime broker, administrator, or hedge fund.
• Understanding of syndicated loans, including loan closing, maintenance, and interactions with agent banks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage client relationships.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Dallas, Los Angeles, or NY/NJ.

Nice to have

• Experience with Advent Geneva.
• Knowledge of WSO, LoanSERV, or Clearpar.
