FP&A Manager – Payments & Billing (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis across the business.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, contribution profit, GMV/TPV, take rate, revenue yield, and unit economics.
• Model payment economics, including interchange, network fees, processor costs, revenue shares, buy rates, and blended pricing.
• Own fee billing, passthrough billing, absorbed billing, and interchange-plus billing processes for ISV customers and merchants.
• Prepare management reporting and variance analysis while partnering with Sales, Operations, Product, Engineering, and FinOps.
• Build scalable Excel models, automate reporting, improve data integrity, and support residual reporting for software partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or embedded finance, with a background in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial operations.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including complex formulas, scenario modeling, and large datasets.
• Experience with financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, three-statement models, operating models, or unit economics frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments, fintech, SaaS, or embedded finance.
• Knowledge of interchange, network fees, acquirer and processor pricing, and revenue share models.
• Experience with fee, passthrough, absorbed, or interchange-plus billing structures.
• Experience in a high-growth startup or venture-backed company.
• Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, Looker, SQL, or transaction-level financial datasets.
