Staff Field Applications Engineer (Robotics)

Location: In-person at the hirify.global headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States; willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% required.

Salary: $115,000–$130,000 annually, plus an annual bonus structure.

What you will do

• Lead solution architecture for complex, large-scale, multi-site robotics integrations, including infrastructure, networking, and global expansion planning.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic accounts and coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Global Support & Services, and Product R&D.
• Establish program standards, Statements of Work, repeatable integration playbooks, and compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
• Integrate robotic data and operational workflows with customer enterprise systems such as CMMS, asset management platforms, and data analysis pipelines.
• Deliver advanced customer training and implement frameworks to measure robot fleet utilization and operational value.
• Mentor FAEs and integration teams while systematizing field feedback to influence product development and roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree, in technology integration, robotics, or complex systems engineering.
• Experience overseeing high-complexity technical deployments across hardware, software, and operational workflows.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineering teams, operators, and business stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD for site planning and enterprise networking, including VLANs and VPNs.
• Ability to use Python or C++ APIs to customize robotic solutions.
• Experience with early-stage product deployments, manufacturing, logistics, or technical go-to-market programs.
