Prescribing Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (Virtual - Remote) - MD - 1099 Contractor (Mental Health)

Location: Remote within the United States; full-time U.S. residency required. An unrestricted Maryland state license is required.

What you will do

• Provide virtual psychiatric medication management through intake and follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations.
• Deliver longitudinal medication treatment to children, teens, and young adults.
• Create patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, message patients, and prescribe psychiatric medications.
• Apply safe, evidence-based clinical practices and refer patients to therapy and coaching services when appropriate.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited CCNE PMHNP program, or an accredited ARC-PA program with PANCE certification.
• Unrestricted Maryland state license required.
• At least 2 years of professional practice.
• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
• Office space suitable for seeing clients is required.
• Ability to treat a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.

Nice to have

• Active DEA license.
• Additional certification or clinical experience working with minors.
• Psychiatry specialization, postgraduate psychiatry fellowship, or related academic psychiatry certification.
• Ability to offer in-person care.
