TL;DR

hirify.global develops robotic manufacturing processes using RoboForming, the RoboCraftsman, and related software tools.

What you will do

  • Generate and modify CAD models for RoboForming compatibility.
  • Convert CAD models into robot tool paths using the internal software stack for execution on the RoboCraftsman.
  • Analyze RoboForming data and 3D scan results to assess part quality and identify improvements.
  • Design and execute structured experiments to optimize forming parameters and tool path strategies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, manufacturing engineers, and external customers.
  • Document processes, results, and analyses to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience, or less with an advanced degree, in manufacturing, robotics, or prototyping.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino.
  • Familiarity with CAM, tool path generation, or robot programming.
  • Strong data analysis skills using MATLAB, Python, advanced Excel, or similar tools.
  • Comfort working in an on-site, hands-on manufacturing environment with a strong focus on safety and occupational hazard prevention.

Nice to have

  • Expertise in surface modeling using CAD.
  • Experience with industrial robots such as FANUC, KUKA, or ABB.
  • Exposure to 3D scanning, inspection systems, or metrology tools.
  • Python scripting, automation tools, CNC machining, additive manufacturing, or other digital manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in production facilities or highly regulated environments such as aerospace, medical, or nuclear.
