Planner / Scheduler (Data Center)

Location: Onsite project work in Corpus Christi, Texas, with the position listing also referencing St. Francisville, Louisiana. Regular site presence is required during construction and commissioning peaks, typically 25–50%.

What you will do

• Build and maintain integrated Primavera P6 schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Run progress cycles through field walk-downs, progress capture, partner updates, and monthly re-baselining governance.
• Analyze critical and near-critical paths, float erosion, slippage drivers, and recovery scenarios.
• Integrate and audit general contractor, EPC, and major vendor schedules, including milestone credibility and schedule-basis commitments.
• Develop Level 1–5 commissioning schedules with system, vendor technician, and utility dependencies.
• Produce lookaheads, milestone trend charts, float-consumption reports, and written critical-path narratives for weekly and monthly reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years of planning and scheduling experience on large capital projects; data center, power, or heavy industrial experience is strongly preferred.
• Expert-level Primavera P6 experience with multi-thousand-activity programs, resource and cost loading, and baseline management.
• Strong schedule-quality discipline, including DCMA-style health checks, logic auditing, and management of open ends and soft constraints.
• Experience integrating and challenging contractor and vendor schedules and defending critical-path assessments.
• Strong analytical, written, and narrative communication skills, plus the ability to collect progress directly from superintendents and trade partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
