Factory Construction Manager

Location: Cherokee, Alabama, United States; on-site. Willingness to travel up to 50% is required.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day construction execution as the field representative for active factory projects.
• Drive progress against project schedules and customer milestones while coordinating general contractors and subcontractors.
• Lead weekly contractor coordination meetings and support daily field coordination.
• Track production quantities, analyze field production rates, and identify schedule or budget drift.
• Prepare daily construction reports covering progress and critical issues.
• Maintain site safety and quality standards, support project planning, and validate contractor invoices.

Requirements

• 15 years of construction management experience in capital project execution, manufacturing facilities, or industrial applications.
• Direct field ownership of projects with general contractor or subcontractor oversight.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software such as P6, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR regulations.
• Willingness to work on-site in Cherokee, Alabama and travel up to 50%.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Earned value metrics and strong scheduling skills.
• CCM and OSHA 30-hour certifications.
• FMEA risk assessment and site surveying knowledge.
