Inspector II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Examine semiconductor devices under a microscope for handling, assembly, and test damage.
• Apply internal and external inspection acceptance and rejection criteria based on MIL-STD-750 Methods 2071–2074.
• Enter data in process travelers, SPC charts, logbooks, lot-tracking systems, and equipment-tracking systems.
• Support daily production operations by anticipating product issues, coordinating product flow, and communicating workforce needs.
• Update technical documents, work specifications, and standardized work instructions while supporting continuous improvement.
• Follow safety practices and OSHA standards while working with production equipment and protective equipment.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of inspection experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with microscopes, tweezers, vacuum pencils, and handling small semiconductor devices, dies, or wafers.
• Excellent visual capability, hand and finger dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical work specifications.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lb and carry up to 15 lb; the role includes standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and working around noise or vibration.
• Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status under 8 USC 1324b(a)(3) due to U.S. export-control requirements.
