Project Team Leader (Capital Projects)

What you will do

• Manage multiple manufacturing capital projects ranging from $200,000 to $8 million.
• Evaluate non-capital alternatives and establish project objectives through business objective letters or project charters.
• Acquire and release project resources, define roles and responsibilities, and align integrated project teams.
• Manage project scope, schedules, expenditures, total investment, and budget changes.
• Lead project leadership direction, steering-team communication, gatekeeping reviews, and project deliverables.
• Develop and validate project economics while driving established capital project methodologies through commissioning and startup.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, construction, or engineering design is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing third-party contractors and suppliers.
• Previous experience as a project project-team leader or construction manager.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, maintenance strategies, capital and non-capital funding, and project controls.
• Strong leadership, communication, prioritization, conflict-resolution, and multitasking skills; experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
