Senior Software Engineer (Platforms)

Location: Remote (United States). Access to export-controlled information requires qualifying as a U.S. person, being eligible to access the information without export authorization, or being reasonably likely to obtain the necessary export authorization.

Develops laser communications technology and temporospatial software-defined networking platforms for satellite, airborne, cislunar, and deep-space communications.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain core platform software.
• Re-engineer deployment strategies for air-gapped systems.
• Design stress-testing and benchmarking solutions for candidate releases.
• Build internal tools for code-quality metrics, static analysis, and vulnerability detection.
• Manage project priorities, timelines, and deliverables while contributing to technical design and architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• 5 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Golang, C/C++, Rust, or Java.
• Strong coding skills with experience in unit and integration testing.
• Experience with infrastructure and DevOps projects.
• Experience leading technical design and architecture from conception through production launch, including performance analysis, debugging, system health, and test development.
