Software Engineer - Apollo Platform

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; hybrid work

Salary: $135,000–$200,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Build and maintain highly available systems for orchestrating software deployment across hundreds of production environments.
• Develop mission-critical software for cloud, on-premise, disconnected, accredited, and edge environments.
• Work with customers and internal teams to identify and solve deployment and infrastructure problems.
• Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping through delivery.
• Debug complex issues and performance problems across the technology stack.

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a similar field.
• Strong software development skills in Java, Golang, C++, or an equivalent language.
• Experience developing and managing highly available distributed systems.
• Ability to build software meeting monitoring, stability, and scalability requirements.
• Ability to learn and work independently, make decisions with minimal direction, and communicate effectively.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience working in a fast-paced CI/CD development environment.
• Empathy for developer and operator workflows and productivity.
