Financial Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Toronto, Canada

Salary: CAD 68,000–78,000 per year

What you will do

• Support annual budgeting, long-range planning, forecasting cycles, scenario analysis, and KPI development.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and operational reporting, including trend and variance analysis.
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, working papers, audits, and payables-related activities.
• Perform product-level margin analysis and provide financial insights to Operations, Sales, and Business Development.
• Develop dashboards, reports, management presentations, and board materials covering performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Process invoice and payment workflows, investigate payment issues, maintain SOX documentation, and support process automation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in forecasting, financial analysis, or accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Oracle SmartView, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, confidentiality requirements, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and financial controls.

Nice to have

• Progress toward or completion of a CPA designation or equivalent.
• Experience with Alteryx, Salesforce, Workday, Concur, or other business systems.
• English/French bilingual ability.
