What you will do

• Design, construct, and characterize precision optical and cryogenic systems for quantum experiments.
• Implement protocols for qubit preparation, control, measurement, and readout.
• Integrate control electronics, laser, RF, microwave, and data acquisition systems.
• Analyze experimental results and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate across teams on quantum system design and development.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with advanced laboratory instrumentation and quantum systems, including AMO, solid-state, or superconducting systems.
• Familiarity with qubit control, spectroscopy, or precision measurement techniques.
• Strong experimental design, data analysis, and scientific problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Python or similar tools for experiment automation.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
