What you will do

• Benchmark and optimize quantum processors based on spins in silicon quantum dots.
• Develop automated calibration routines to ensure long-term QPU performance.
• Devise measurement and analysis roadmaps for quantum operations.
• Lead and motivate a team of scientists and engineers in a high-impact environment.
• Communicate complex technical strategies to stakeholders and author technical reports.

Requirements

• PhD in physics, chemistry, or engineering.
• Proven track record of leadership in dynamical characterization and control of spin qubits.
• Experience defining research goals and leading teams to successful technical outcomes.
• Proficiency in data acquisition software such as Python or Matlab.
• Familiarity with high-frequency electronics and quantum information systems.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning techniques applied to physical systems.
• Hands-on experience operating deep cryogenic measurement systems.
• Demonstrated capability in benchmarking quantum systems (e.g., randomized benchmarking).
• Experience mentoring junior researchers and supervising students.
