Group Program Manager, Technical Programs (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; hybrid

Salary: $225,000–$290,000 per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of GPU cluster activations and data center infrastructure programs through operational handoff.
• Lead deployment programs spanning hardware, networking, power, cooling, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Coordinate engineering, infrastructure, network, hardware, ICT, operations, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Anticipate dependencies and downstream impacts on capacity, schedules, readiness, and cluster performance.
• Build roadmaps, risk registers, RACI matrices, decision logs, runbooks, and governance mechanisms for scalable delivery.
• Present portfolio status, risks, key decisions, and escalation paths to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years delivering complex data center physical infrastructure programs or large-scale GPU/AI cluster deployments.
• Experience bridging construction handover and cluster deployment; network-only or construction-only experience is insufficient.
• Hands-on GPU cluster deployment and activation experience, preferably with NVIDIA infrastructure.
• Understanding of compute, networking, storage, security, power density, cooling, CDU/DLC, and deployment sequencing.
• Experience managing vendors and contractors and leading delivery through influence across teams.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and present executive-level program status, risks, and decisions.

Nice to have

• Engineering, hard science degree, or comparable technical depth.
• Experience with concurrent programs across multiple sites or regions, including EMEA.
• Long-lead procurement, hardware supply chain, BPO, or contract labor management experience.
• Experience at a major infrastructure company combined with startup or scale-up experience.
• DCD, PMP, CDCPM, CDCMP, CDCP, or comparable certification.
