Technical Program Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: New York, NY; Austin, TX; Lubbock, TX; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; U.S. Remote. Location type: On-site. Travel to data center locations is required, potentially on short notice, for up to 60% of the time.

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own program delivery for data halls and AI clusters from planning through operational handoff.
• Coordinate construction, infrastructure, networking, hardware, ICT, commissioning, procurement, systems engineering, and operations teams.
• Translate hyperscale AI/GPU and direct liquid cooling infrastructure requirements into actionable deployment plans.
• Manage vendors, integration contractors, and third-party service providers across the deployment lifecycle.
• Track schedules, risks, decisions, RACI matrices, and deployment runbooks while providing executive-level status briefings.
• Identify process improvements that scale across concurrent builds and future deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering complex physical data center infrastructure programs in fast-moving environments.
• Strong understanding of AI/GPU infrastructure, including power density, cooling, networking, and deployment sequencing.
• Experience bridging construction handover with AI cluster deployment; network-only or construction-only experience is insufficient.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent sites or regions, vendors, contractors, procurement, and hardware supply-chain constraints.
• Ability to lead through influence, operate with incomplete information, present risks and decisions to senior leadership, and drive execution beyond defined scope.
• Willingness and ability to travel to data center locations, including up to 60% travel and occasional short-notice trips.

Nice to have

• DCD, PMP, CDCPM, CDCMP, CDCP, or DCDC certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience with JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar project tracking tools.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and deployment tools.
• Experience with BPO or contract labor pools, material coordination, or large-scale deployment logistics.
