What you will do

• Work with prospective DACH insurance clients to understand infrastructure, business requirements, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrate how Clearwater solutions address insurance investment management requirements and communicate the core value proposition in writing and presentations.
• Coordinate, organize, and delegate activities related to prospect RFPs and sales visits.
• Develop sales resources and build a deep understanding of Clearwater’s product offering.
• Apply insurance risk expertise to solve complex and abstract problems for enterprise prospects.
• Provide product and market feedback to product management, development, global delivery, and client services teams.

Requirements

• Fluency in German and English is required.
• Professional experience in insurance risk controlling, middle office, consulting, asset management, investment accounting, investment operations, or fintech.
• Knowledge of EIOPA guidelines, including ORSA, reporting, and disclosure, as well as EU-wide stress-test methodologies.
• Knowledge of RIMS-CRMP preparation, risk appetite and tolerance, ERM, SII/SCR/ORSA/ALM, sustainable value, and asset valuation.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience and strong written, verbal, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and German regulatory reporting.
• Experience with securities and financial markets, including derivatives, alternatives, structured products, and fixed income.
• Understanding of DACH-specific financial instruments, trustee processes, trade controls, stress testing, forecasting, and industry reporting, accounting, and data challenges.
