Salary: $140,000–$160,000 annually, depending on experience, licensure, location, and other business considerations.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other medical professionals through administrative and clinical oversight.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for children, adolescents, and young adults, while monitoring patient outcomes.
  • Ensure behavioral health medical services comply with applicable regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with psychotherapists, diagnosticians, support staff, patients, and families to provide integrated and personalized care.
  • Build relationships with external medical providers and agencies to support coordinated care and referrals.
  • Lead quality improvement, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program and PMHNP-BC certification.
  • Active PMHNP/APRN license in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Maryland; additional state licenses will be required.
  • At least three years of post-licensure PMHNP experience, including pediatric or adolescent mental health practice.
  • At least three years of administrative or leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Strong pediatric psychiatry skills, knowledge of evidence-based practices, and understanding of behavioral health regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate medical professionals, communicate effectively, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
