Human Resources Operations Specialist (Immigration & Global Mobility)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States

Annual salary: $90,000–$100,000 USD, depending on experience, plus benefits and incentive plans.

What you will do

• Manage US and global immigration, visa sponsorship, relocation, and global mobility programs.
• Track immigration cases and coordinate with immigration counsel, employees, HR partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders.
• Support relocation packages, assignment counseling, pre-departure and post-arrival services, and tax-compliant disbursement tracking.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, employment documentation, equipment, system access, badges, and facility access.
• Maintain onboarding progress, personnel files, recruiting records, and confidential HR documentation.
• Use data and stakeholder feedback to improve HR policies, workflows, budgets, compliance programs, and onboarding efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience administering employment-based immigration or global mobility programs.
• Strong knowledge of US immigration processes, including H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT/STEM OPT, L-1, O-1, PERM, and employment-based permanent residency sponsorship.
• Experience working with immigration counsel, government compliance requirements, foreign national employees, and domestic or international relocations.
• Experience with onboarding, Form I-9 compliance, E-Verify, employment eligibility requirements, HRIS, case management systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, stakeholder management, and confidential information-handling skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global technology, automotive, manufacturing, engineering, or high-growth environment.
• Experience developing HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse or similar HR systems.
