Configuration/Data Manager IV (D&NS)

Location: Folsom, CA, United States. U.S. citizenship is required, and the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. ITAR eligibility requirements apply.

Salary: $125,000–$165,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of configuration management processes compliant with AS9100, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, company policies, and customer requirements.
• Control hardware, software, documentation, technical baselines, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data packages throughout the product lifecycle.
• Administer Engineering Change Requests and workflows, including evaluation, approval, implementation, revision tracking, and status accounting.
• Facilitate Configuration Control Board meetings and maintain Configuration Management Plans, databases, repositories, records, and audit-ready documentation.
• Support Functional and Physical Configuration Audits, compliance assessments, design reviews, test readiness reviews, and production readiness reviews.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, program management, and customer stakeholders while providing configuration management guidance and training.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of configuration or data management experience in DoD, aerospace, or missile defense programs.
• Knowledge of AS9100, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, configuration management principles, Data Item Descriptions, MIL-STD formatting, and contract compliance.
• Experience with engineering PDM/PLM tools such as Windchill, Enovia 3D Experience, Teamcenter, or SolidWorks PDM.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or Pro/Engineer, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Clear oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Nice to have

• CMPIC or equivalent configuration management certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of configuration/data management experience may substitute for the degree.
