Staff Manufacturing Engineer (Spacecraft)

Location: Onsite at the office in Louisville, Colorado, United States. Travel up to 5%.

Base salary: $145,000–$180,200 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead spacecraft assembly and integration across multiple satellite configurations, including bus assembly, payload integration, and launch base integration.
• Own execution against engineering requirements, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Develop work instructions and manufacturing processes to increase yield and reduce cycle time.
• Lead non-conformance investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Design and own large-scale ground support equipment for spacecraft manufacturing and integration.
• Partner with engineering, supply chain, and suppliers on design for manufacturing, producibility, and material first-pass yield.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience manufacturing spacecraft or complex electromechanical systems in an aerospace or space environment.
• Hands-on manufacturing and test experience.
• Deep knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD; SolidWorks preferred.
• Proficiency with product lifecycle management tools.
• Must satisfy U.S. export-control and government-contract eligibility requirements, including U.S. Person status or applicable authorization.
