Senior Manager, FP&A — Assistant to the President (AI Finance)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 annually, depending on experience, plus benefits and incentive plans.

What you will do

• Own the long-range plan, annual budget, rolling forecasts, and budget-versus-actual analysis across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Build driver-based three-statement models linking units, program milestones, headcount, capex, and BOM costs to financial outcomes.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and runway forecasting to support financing and capital-allocation decisions.
• Partner with engineering, program management, operations, and supply chain on unit economics, product-level P&L, margins, cost structure, and headcount planning.
• Support the President with board decks, earnings and investor-relations preparation, leadership meetings, and high-priority executive projects.
• Lead AI-enabled finance transformation, executive reporting, monthly-close support, SEC reporting support, and automated finance workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of corporate FP&A or strategic finance experience in a high-tech, advanced-manufacturing, or capital-intensive hardware company.
• Experience at a publicly listed SEC-reporting company, including board and earnings-reporting cadence.
• Expertise in three-statement and driver-based financial modeling, forecasting, liquidity analysis, and executive reporting.
• Hands-on experience selecting or implementing modern financial systems and AI-enabled finance workflows.
• Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with equity financing, convertibles, cash-runway management, going-concern analysis, or Nasdaq compliance.
• Investment banking, strategy consulting, Big 4, MBA, CPA, or CFA background.
• Experience with AI FP&A tools, AP or close automation, spend-management platforms, digital assets, or crypto treasury.
