Production Test Engineer (Power IC)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; training in Chengdu, China is required twice per year for two months, with an initial six-month training period

What you will do

• Analyze, optimize, and develop component-level circuits and production test programs, primarily in C and C++.
• Implement precision parametric measurements for analog and mixed-signal power management ICs.
• Identify and disposition risky production-tested chips and test-system issues.
• Optimize production test cost, efficiency, capacity, and process stability through test-time reduction, multisite solutions, platform transfers, and process simplification.
• Collaborate with other departments on new-product qualification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Automation, Instrument Science and Engineering, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
• Programming experience in C is required; C++ is preferred.
• Good communication skills in Chinese and English, including reading and writing.
• Willingness to attend required training at the Chengdu office twice per year and complete the initial six-month training period there.

Nice to have

• Experience in power IC testing.
• Familiarity with laboratory electronic instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
