Configuration/Data Manager II (D&NS)

Location: Folsom, California, United States. U.S. citizenship is required, and the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Manage hardware, software, documentation, and technical data baselines throughout the product lifecycle.
• Control engineering drawings, specifications, technical data packages, revisions, and document numbering.
• Administer Engineering Change Requests and workflows, including evaluation, approval, implementation, and tracking.
• Organize and document Configuration Control Board meetings and action items.
• Maintain configuration management databases, repositories, records, status reports, metrics, and audit findings.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, program management, and customer stakeholders, while supporting configuration audits and SDRL/CDRL submissions.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of configuration or data management experience in DoD, aerospace, or missile defense programs.
• Knowledge of configuration management principles and standards, including AS9100, EIA-649, and MIL-HDBK-61.
• Experience with engineering PDM/PLM tools such as Windchill, Enovia 3D Experience, Teamcenter, or SolidWorks PDM.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or Pro/ENGINEER, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Clear oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Nice to have

• CMPIC or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of configuration or data management experience may substitute for the degree.
