Subcontracts Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and closure of critical subcontracts with strategic suppliers.
• Manage contract changes, waivers, deviations, addendums, exercised options, and lifecycle change control.
• Maintain comprehensive, auditable contract records and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Review contracts against technical, quality, regulatory, and government compliance requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against schedule, cost, and quality targets while identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, supporting supplier growth and development.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in subcontract management.
• Experience in a production or test environment and with procurement of electromechanical assemblies and related build and test processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, organizational, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with an ERP system such as NetSuite and Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of technical baselines, supplier design maturity assessment, systems engineering, program execution integration, and complex aerospace supplier oversight.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a global team.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in aerospace, NetSuite purchasing or inventory modules, FAR/DFARS, or US Government contracting.
• Supply Chain or Project Management certification such as ASCM or PMP.
• Fluency in French and/or Arabic.
