What you will do

• Support pilot-line operations and R&D experiments for new media technology.
• Provide technical support and process improvement suggestions to engineering teams.
• Operate process equipment efficiently and monitor real-time process-tool data.
• Collect measurement-tool data, maintain documentation, and follow established procedures and protocols.
• Identify out-of-control conditions, troubleshoot issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, management, and other cross-functional teams to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field and 2+ years of experience, or a master’s degree.
• Hands-on experience with process planning, issue root-cause analysis, and design or process improvement.
• Experience applying statistical analysis and quality-control methods.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and provide effective solutions.
• Strong data analysis, communication, documentation, teamwork, and computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work on-site at the Fremont product-design campus.

Nice to have

• Lean manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or Six Sigma experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles.
