What you will do
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing for background record check applications.
- Design complex test datasets and validate data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
- Support production applications, investigate defects, troubleshoot issues, and verify corrective actions.
- Analyze workflows and application processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend system improvements.
- Collaborate with application teams, business users, Contact Center staff, Product Owners, and technical support teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of quality assurance and software testing experience.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis, including complex test data creation.
- Experience with Jira, Xray, defect management, test lifecycle processes, and requirements traceability.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting production applications.
Nice to have
- Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience supporting government or regulated applications.
- Background in background screening, compliance, or case management systems.
- Knowledge of production incident management, SDLC, Agile, and QA best practices.
