QA Automation Analyst

What you will do

• Analyze user stories and functional specifications to create, automate, and execute test cases.
• Write, review, and maintain automated test scripts, test data, and reusable testing frameworks.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, database, service, and production validation testing.
• Manage defects, facilitate defect management meetings, and provide testing updates.
• Participate in requirements reviews, project meetings, Agile/Scrum activities, and software releases.
• Coordinate testing tasks and activities with the broader Scrum testing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of automation and automation testing experience.
• Experience with industry-standard testing, development, and quality assurance methodologies.
• Knowledge of test-driven development and acceptance test-driven development.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Karate, RestAssured, Cucumber, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SOAP UI, or Postman.
• Working knowledge of Java or Python, SQL Server or Oracle databases, RESTful microservices, and scripting languages.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or engineering.
• Experience with Azure Test Plans, Quality Center, Team Foundation Server, Azure pipelines, and Jenkins plugins.
• Experience with performance testing using JMeter and keyword, modular, or data-driven frameworks.
• Knowledge of web development frameworks, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, and reusable automation patterns.
