Head of Operations (Robotics & AI)

Location: New York, United States; on-site

Salary: $200,000–$240,000 annually plus equity

What you will do

• Design and run the company-wide operating model, including governance, KPIs, capacity planning, decision rights, and operating cadence.
• Own end-to-end delivery across data programs and robotics deployments, with accountability for quality, speed, cost, and customer commitments.
• Build and scale the operations organization, including program managers, operations analysts, deployment operations, and operating leaders.
• Establish dashboards, reporting, operational intelligence, risk frameworks, escalation paths, and delivery assurance.
• Translate company strategy, research, and product priorities into operational roadmaps and shipped outcomes.
• Partner with the CEO, CTO, CPO, CFO, Hardware, Software, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Sales leadership.

Requirements

• 6+ years of leadership experience in operations, delivery, or general management, including experience as Head of Operations, VP Operations, COO, GM, President, or equivalent.
• Direct experience managing distributed, multi-site operations and scaling teams from tens to hundreds.
• Experience owning end-to-end delivery with quality, speed, and cost accountability.
• Experience designing operating models, SOPs, playbooks, governance frameworks, and operational metrics from first principles.
• Meaningful ownership of margin, budget, or P&L.
• Experience with international teams, field deployment partners, vendor ecosystems, and operationally complex environments.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling operations through Series B/C at a high-growth company.
• Background in robotics, AI/ML, data services, or deployment-heavy enterprise programs.
• Operational intelligence experience with BI, automation, or AI-enabled operations tooling.
• SQL or Python fluency for independently retrieving and analyzing data.
• Experience systemizing operations, developing operators, and working in zero-to-one environments.
