What you will do

• Serve as the lead legal advisor to the Education Solutions businesses and partner with executive leaders on strategic priorities and business growth.
• Advise on complex commercial, regulatory, governance, and operational legal matters.
• Lead legal support for mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and other corporate transactions.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks while collaborating with finance, compliance, product, and business teams.
• Build trusted relationships across the organization and guide stakeholders through evolving legal and business challenges.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of legal experience, including significant experience supporting technology, software, SaaS, or education-focused businesses.
• Strong background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and strategic business counseling.
• Ability to assess legal risk, provide practical business-focused advice, and influence senior-level decision-making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience supporting education technology, software, SaaS, or other highly regulated technology-driven businesses.
• Experience leading or supporting domestic and international acquisitions, integrations, and strategic initiatives.
