Regulatory Counsel (Fintech)

Location: On-site in Singapore, Dubai, or London

Building a cross-border fintech platform for emerging markets, with remittance, card, savings, and payment products serving diaspora communities.

What you will do

• Lead legal and regulatory work for new product launches and existing product development.
• Advise product, compliance, finance, and infosec teams on day-to-day regulatory challenges and ongoing compliance.
• Identify and evaluate regulatory risks and develop practical solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory and licensing matters.
• Lead engagement with regulators and support license applications for entry into new markets.
• Own ongoing regulatory matters across live markets.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 5–10 years of practicing experience in payments or another regulated business.
• Relevant in-house experience in a fintech, payments, or other regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing financial products and services.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and contribute to a fast-growing business.
• Experience working with regulators is preferred but not required.
