Senior Technical Sourcer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco or New York City, United States

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own sourcing strategy from role intake through qualified pipeline for technical, product, and business/operations roles.
• Build Boolean search strings, talent maps, and market research across LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels.
• Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to define sourcing criteria and calibrate candidate quality.
• Run outbound campaigns targeting passive candidates and improve messaging based on response data.
• Maintain organized pipelines in Ashby and track sourcing metrics and funnel conversion.
• Monitor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor talent movement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of sourcing experience, including meaningful experience at a high-growth startup.
• Experience sourcing across engineering, product, and business/operations functions.
• Strong command of Boolean search logic and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, and Ashby or similar ATS.
• Track record of building pipelines for hard-to-fill or niche roles.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or New York City.

• Experience sourcing for AI/ML or data-focused companies.
• Familiarity with market mapping and competitive talent intelligence.
• Experience partnering directly with C-level or senior hiring managers.
