Manager, Project Management

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, with regular on-site presence required; one remote workday per week may be available. Occasional travel and on-site attendance at critical project events may be required.

Salary: $130,000–$145,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, develop, and supervise Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
• Manage complex, high-priority, and customer-facing projects from handoff through stabilization and closeout.
• Allocate projects and balance workload according to scope, complexity, risk, timing, and team capacity.
• Establish project standards, templates, reporting expectations, milestones, ownership, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead customer kickoff, status, readiness, risk, and closeout meetings while documenting decisions and commitments.
• Coordinate delivery across Sales, Product, Engineering, Field Engineering, Training, Support, Client Success, Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, technology, project management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• At least 3 years of progressive project management experience, including complex customer-facing implementations or operational projects.
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience or demonstrated responsibility for coaching and directing project professionals.
• Strong project planning, risk and issue management, change control, stakeholder communication, executive reporting, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to coordinate technical and nontechnical teams, manage escalations, communicate with clients, and perform in high-stress situations.

Nice to have

• Experience with public safety technology, SaaS, hardware/software implementations, field deployments, or government customers.
• Experience improving project management practices in a growing organization.
• PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or another relevant agile or delivery credential.
