Senior Project Manager I (Aerospace)

Location: Sinclair Interplanetary site in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $10,700–$134,000 CAD per year, plus potential stock and cash incentives

What you will do

• Own delivery of development projects focused on ADCS components for satellites, ensuring schedule and budget targets are met.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate project teams, recurring meetings, reviews, actions, and alignment between schedules and assigned tasks.
• Report progress, delays, cost increases, and risks to leadership and external stakeholders.
• Maintain project risk registers and coordinate internal and external facility planning.
• Monitor long-lead procurement, supplier delivery dates, and new product introduction across quality, manufacturing, production, supply chain, and sales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, systems, aerospace, or another technical engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of related experience in aerospace or a similar industry.
• Proficiency with project and engineering management tools such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet.
• Ability to work at the Toronto, Ontario site and perform prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and computer work, with occasional exposure to noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience with ECSS and NASA project management standards.
• Project management qualifications such as PMP or APMP.
• Experience designing, developing, and testing spacecraft structures, optical systems, and mechanisms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
