Lead Maintenance Technician

Location: McCarran, Nevada, United States; onsite in an industrial facility

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to electromechanical maintenance technicians.
• Schedule and assign maintenance tasks, coordinate daily work, and support the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans with planners and audit inspections to reduce equipment downtime.
• Diagnose complex electromechanical issues and coordinate repairs or replacement of components.
• Work with cross-functional teams on projects and respond to emergency repairs to minimize production disruptions.
• Enforce safety protocols, participate in audits and investigations, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in production or plant maintenance.
• Experience leading or managing maintenance teams and assigning work.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and disassemble and reassemble complex mechanical systems.
• Experience with heavy commercial equipment, AC and DC electrical systems, motion control, motors, pneumatics, sensors, PLCs, I/O, and VFDs.
• Proficiency with CMMS, data entry and lookup, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work onsite in industrial conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes, PPE, standing, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.

• Previous leadership experience.
• Experience in fabrication and welding.

Culture & Benefits

• Full-time schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday.
• Availability for weekends, nights, and on-call work may be required.
• Work takes place indoors and outdoors with varying weather and industrial operating conditions.
• Maintenance work follows safety regulations and procedures including OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, and Confined Space protocols.
