Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments during the monthly close.
• Perform account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve balance sheet and income statement variances.
• Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for key balance sheet accounts.
• Support monthly financial reporting, management analysis, inventory accounting, and cost accounting processes.
• Assist with ERP processes, data validation, continuous improvement, and accounting procedure enhancements.
• Prepare audit schedules, gather documentation, and collaborate with operations, procurement, and other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Understanding of general accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with ERP systems; Epicor is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliations.
• Strong organization, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
