Senior Accountant

Location: Torrance, United States; onsite work

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Drive the end-to-end month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux and variance analysis, and close-calendar management.
• Own accounting areas including fixed assets, depreciation, prepaid expenses, accruals, payroll, and cash and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger structure and support monthly financial reporting, KPI tracking, trend analysis, and variance commentary.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and technical teams to communicate accounting requirements and provide operational support.
• Document processes, accounting procedures, system relationships, and internal controls.
• Support ERP, accounts payable automation, expense management, audit preparation, and other finance systems initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience with hands-on month-end close, financial reporting, and analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Ramp, plus Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong organization, communication, self-direction, and ability to work through ambiguity.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
