Quality Director (Nuclear Energy)

What you will do

• Build, implement, and maintain a practical Quality Assurance Program.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and validation of components against design requirements.
• Manage construction testing, including welds, concrete slabs, X-rays, and hydrostatic pressure tests.
• Issue, track, and resolve Non-Conformance Reports with contractors.
• Maintain quality documentation and records while evaluating and auditing suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, project management, contractors, and other cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in quality, ideally within energy or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, and Statistical Process Control.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Ability to work on-site in Austin, Texas.
