Sales Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, with approximately 50% travel across the US to government partners and hirify.global offices.

What you will do

• Travel with go-to-market teams and serve as the technical lead for new US government business.
• Lead discovery with agency leaders, program offices, and technical staff to map mission workflows, data landscapes, and constraints.
• Design and deliver tailored demos, proofs of concept, technical proposals, and pilot frameworks.
• Own solution architecture, security and compliance requirements, integration scoping, and pilot success criteria throughout the deal cycle.
• Support RFIs, RFPs, capture efforts, technical volumes, and architecture documentation.
• Partner with deployed engineering and product teams to turn customer needs and pilots into long-term production deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience selling into the US public sector and knowledge of government procurement, contract vehicles, FedRAMP, IL levels, and ATO processes.
• Technical depth in AI/ML systems, APIs, data integration, and government cloud environments.
• Ability to build demos, script prototypes, and debug proofs of concept independently.
• Strong communication skills for translating complex AI capabilities into clear mission value.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the US, with regular travel of approximately 50%.
