Operations Delivery Lead (Aerospace & Defence)

Location: Farnborough, United Kingdom; onsite 5 days per week. The role requires the right to work in the United Kingdom and eligibility for UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements, including applicable residency and potentially nationality requirements.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery for assigned defence and aerospace programmes, ensuring SLA, availability, response-time, and service-quality targets are met.
• Manage operational P&L, revenue forecasting, cost control, profitability, resource planning, and demand forecasting.
• Act as the primary customer-accountability point, manage escalations, and advise senior customer and defence programme stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, service maturity, and account growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Ensure contractual, regulatory, security, governance, PRF, and ITAR/export-control obligations are fulfilled.
• Lead incident management and operational teams, including recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and capability development of cleared personnel.

Requirements

• Right to work in the United Kingdom and eligibility to meet applicable UK Government and contractual personnel security and residency requirements.
• Leadership-level experience in service delivery, operations management, or programme management.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder defence, aerospace, or government contracts.
• Strong experience with SLA and KPI management, operational metrics, P&L responsibility, and financial performance.
• Knowledge of procurement, contracting, compliance, information security, data classification, personnel vetting, ITIL, and ITSM.
• Experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud services, application support, programme tools, and matrixed team leadership.
