Senior Manager, Data Centre Vendor Operations & Governance (AI Infrastructure)

Location: London base preferred, hybrid, with regular site travel of up to approximately 25%, including international travel

What you will do

• Own strategic relationships with colocation and third-party data centre providers across EMEA, serving as the primary escalation point for performance, contractual, and site-level issues.
• Establish and enforce SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, vendor scorecards, QBRs, and operational review cadences.
• Coordinate vendor-facing changes, incidents, maintenance schedules, RCA, and CAPA processes with Reliability Engineering and site operations.
• Govern technical audit cadence and closure while coordinating technical execution by Reliability Engineering.
• Review vendor reporting on power, cooling, environmental conditions, PUE, and active power draw for operational and risk reporting.
• Build and scale the EMEA vendor operations function, including its regional structure and future headcount plan.

Requirements

• Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to maintain trust while holding suppliers and internal stakeholders accountable.
• Extensive experience in customer-facing or stakeholder-management roles, including complex commercial discussions.
• Direct experience in a mission-critical data centre environment with familiarity with facility operations.
• Strong commercial and contractual literacy covering SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, and vendor scorecards.
• Experience structuring QBRs, operational meetings, agendas, actions, and multi-stakeholder governance.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and build a new function from the ground up.

Nice to have

• High-level understanding of data centre power, cooling, and facility systems.
• Experience in high-growth infrastructure, data centre, or hyperscale environments.
• People-management experience or readiness to build and lead a regional team.
• Familiarity with PUE, uptime, operational reporting, and facility performance metrics.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA for site visits and provider alignment.
