What you will do

• Collaborate with leadership to enhance delivery pace, predictability, and quality using standards, metrics, and AI tools.
• Coach delivery managers on effective planning, risk and issue management, and status reporting.
• Identify at-risk deliveries early and co-create or lead corrective action plans and interventions.
• Define and implement BT's approach to AI-enabled delivery management, including Agentic AI capabilities.
• Capture and champion emerging good practices to drive ongoing improvement in delivery standards and tools.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading programme and project delivery within IT transformation or technology services.
• Proven experience leading delivery across complex matrix organisations and major transformation initiatives.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex solutions to C-suite executives.
• Experience implementing delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and performance tooling.
• Strong analytical skills to assess delivery metrics, trends, and forecasts for informed decision-making.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of delivery frameworks such as Agile, SAFe, Six Sigma, or CMMI.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps toolchains and software engineering delivery practices.
• Consultancy experience involving business case development and benefits realisation.
• Professional certifications like SAFe or other industry-standard project management qualifications.
• Previous experience implementing AI-enabled solutions or transformation initiatives.
