Technical Deployment Lead (AI)

Location: London, UK; hybrid attendance in an Anthropic office is expected at least 25% of the time. Travel to customer sites of up to 25–50% is expected.

Annual salary: £165,000–£230,000 GBP.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery engagements, from statements of work through production deployment.
• Lead customer discovery, map workflows, define MVP scope, and shape solution architectures for custom AI agent deployments.
• Coordinate Anthropic and customer engineering teams, manage milestones, dependencies, scope, risks, and delivery operations.
• Own product scoping, requirements documentation, engineering backlog prioritization, and value measurement through KPIs and ROI reporting.
• Manage executive briefings and stakeholder communications across technical, business, procurement, legal, security, and compliance teams.
• Build reusable solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and delivery playbooks while feeding field insights back to Product and Research.

Requirements

• Experience leading AI/ML engagements or deployments, including AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions delivered into production.
• Ability to navigate architecture discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and own technical direction without writing production code.
• Track record delivering complex, high-stakes technical projects for enterprise clients, ideally across regulated industries or multiple workstreams.
• Experience in a specialized vertical such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, retail, mining, or agriculture.
• Executive presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or professional experience in a relevant field.
