Technical Deployment Lead (AI)

Location: London, UK; hybrid policy requires staff to be in an office at least 25% of the time. Travel to customer sites of up to 25–50% is expected.

Annual salary: £165,000–£230,000 GBP

What you will do

• Own technical delivery plans from signed statements of work through production deployment, including milestones, dependencies, success criteria, and value hypotheses.
• Lead customer discovery, map workflows and constraints, validate MVP scope, and shape solution architecture with Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Drive engineering execution across Anthropic and customer teams, manage backlogs and scope, and make trade-offs to protect critical delivery paths.
• Manage executive and technical stakeholder relationships, including briefings, procurement discussions, communications, and contract changes.
• Define impact hypotheses, baselines, KPIs, and pre- and post-deployment ROI measurement.
• Develop reusable delivery patterns while navigating security reviews, legal approvals, compliance requirements, and enterprise complexity.

Requirements

• Experience leading AI or ML engagements and deploying AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions into production.
• Ability to evaluate architecture and technical trade-offs and guide technical direction without writing production code.
• Track record delivering complex, high-stakes technical projects for enterprise clients across multiple workstreams.
• Executive presence and ability to represent Anthropic with senior business and engineering leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or relevant professional experience.
• Ability to work under the London-based hybrid policy and travel to customer sites up to 25–50%.

• Experience in a specialized vertical such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, retail, mining, or agriculture.
