Project Delivery Manager

What you will do

• Oversee complex programmes comprising multiple products, services and workstreams.
• Coordinate delivery across network and software engineering, cloud, data, AI, product, QA and client delivery teams.
• Manage dependencies, risks, blockers, budgets, contracts, suppliers and resource priorities.
• Translate programme vision into delivery plans, governance, reporting and measurable outcomes.
• Act as the initial escalation point for high-risk stakeholder, commercial and delivery issues.
• Coach delivery managers and promote Agile, Lean, Prince2 and continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

• Significant experience managing complex digital, data or technology programmes involving multiple teams or workstreams.
• Expert understanding of Agile and Lean practices, with the ability to tailor delivery approaches throughout the product or service lifecycle.
• Strong commercial and financial management experience, including budgets, supplier relationships, contracts and value for money.
• Ability to communicate complex or high-risk topics clearly to senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies and blockers while maintaining delivery momentum.
• Experience coaching delivery managers and improving delivery processes across teams or departments.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering programmes for public-sector, regulated or high-assurance clients.
• Experience leading programmes involving technology networks, cloud platforms, data products, AI solutions or software engineering.
• Experience establishing programme governance, delivery assurance, reporting frameworks and escalation routes.
