Maintenance Manager (Data Center Infrastructure)

Location: Ashburn, VA, United States; onsite data center environment

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 per year, plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, building, and critical facilities equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, projects, vendors, Facility Managers, Site Directors, customers, and internal departments.
• Develop maintenance calendars, issue maintenance notifications, review vendor reports, and monitor contractor and in-house maintenance activities.
• Review and approve maintenance-related change requests, MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs while ensuring change-control compliance.
• Support facility audits, customer fit-outs, sustainability and safety initiatives, capital projects, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with CAPEX/OPEX budgets and electrical and mechanical capacity planning while mentoring operations personnel.

Requirements

• Experience managing maintenance and operations for critical facilities or data center environments.
• Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, building management systems, fire and life safety, plumbing, and related support equipment.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, contractors, customers, Facility Managers, Site Directors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of maintenance documentation and change-control processes, including MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, customer service, project management, safety, and technical skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Ashburn, Virginia, including physical work around mechanical equipment, elevated areas, outdoor conditions, and potentially hazardous materials.
