Entry-level Electrical Engineer

Location: On-site in San Jose, California, United States; limited travel up to 10%

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses and equity participation

What you will do

• Assist with the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and products using AutoCAD Electrical or Altium Designer.
• Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings with cross-functional teams.
• Perform basic electrical calculations, analysis, prototype testing, and validation.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during design and testing.
• Prepare design specifications, test plans, technical reports, presentations, and project updates.
• Support senior engineers and project managers with component selection, deadlines, manufacturing, and assembly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or Altium Designer.
• Understanding of circuit design, signal processing, and power distribution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work on-site in San Jose, California.

Nice to have

• Internship or co-op experience in electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with IEEE and NEC standards and codes.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems or control systems.
